random entry

Last Saturday, took a morning walk with the two boys..saja bawak Aariq jalan² then hubby as usual ada bola that morning and when he's not around Mika and I will join my parents & sis for breakfast at one of the restaurants at PH. My mom's friend..lebih kurang la. My mom..dengan workers dekat rumah dia pon dia kawan, tak termasuk lagi orang dobi, tailor..everywhere la :) The owner and workers at the restaurant mmg kenal dah Mika. Nasi lemak dia memang sedap la. One time tu pergi, Mika siap cakap "Mommy, kenapa nasi lemak dia sedap sangat haa?" Mika and I have the same fav food..nasi lemak.

Then pergi post office nak return parcel. Sebab dah sampai Giant, so mana boleh tak masuk Giant kan.  Balik rumah, prepare Aariq's food, then masak sikit for lunch..settle :) Weekend la I dapat prepare Aariq's food on my own, what ingredients to put in and experiment with different kind of recipes. Dulu selalu I masak banyak² then buat stock in the fridge like 2 -3 hari ke tapi nahh...nak bagi fresh. If ada leftover baru I buat stock and keep it in the freezer tuh pon not more than 3 days. 

The best thing is dapat tengok his reaction masa makan. So far dia ok la, makan je semua. Sometimes tak banyak but still makan la. Time Mika I naive sikit..then weekdays mmg depend kat babysitter. This time around, I wanna do it on my own. If weekdays, I will tell the maid on what to cook and siap² kan bahan for her. Try to make the porridge fresh everyday. Tapi ada jugak I ambil shortcut which is to steam the carrots, brocolli, potato, pumpkin anything la yang suitable for steam and store in the freezer. Bila nak masak just take one cube and mix. Chicken stocks pon buat macam tuh, senang. I admit this time memang banyak I buat research (konon :P) and all. Tips from other mothers out there memang berguna.

Since dia sudah ada 2 batang gigi, I ada la try bagi dia porridge tapi just mash but his poo turned out a bit hard so back to blend just that tak halus sangat, nak bagi texture. Baby food is the best sebab tak perlu salt and sugar..so masak je. If food orang besar kena ada rasa la kan..then masa tuh la orang akan fussy nak makan ke tak nak makan (speaking from experience coz I'm not a good cook but somehow better la dari dulu²..eh puji diri sendiri nampak)s
